FUE FUNDADA EN EL AÑO 1.972 POR LA PROFESORA CARMEN MARTÍNEZ, BAJO LA COMANDANCIA DEL SEÑOR ALFREDO ENCINOZA. ACTUALMENTE ESTÁN ENCARGADOS DE LA COMANDANCIA EL OFICIAL JESÚS CALDERÓN Y COMO COORDINADOR GENERAL EL OFICIAL ÁNGELO BARRIOS.
LA BANDA INICIÓ SUS ACTIVIDADES CON 30 INTEGRANTES Y ACTUALMENTE CUENTA CON 80 ALUMNOS EN SUS COMPONENTES, TODOS ELLOS SELECCIONADOS PREVIAMENTE BAJO LA MIRADA DE LOS COORDINADORES DE COMPAÑÍAS Y EL COREÓGRAFO O COREÓGRAFA ENCARGADOS DEL GRUPO DE BAILE.
ES DE NOTAR QUE ES LA ÚNICA BANDA QUE NO HA SUFRIDO INTERRUPCIÓN DESDE SU FUNDACIÓN. LO CUAL EN EL PRESENTE AÑO, ESTÁ CUMPLIENDO XXXVII ANIVERSARIO, SIEMPRE BAJO LA DIRECCIÓN DEL PROFESOR AULIO J. ROVERO H., QUIEN ESTÁ CUMPLIENDO 35 AÑOS DIRIGIENDO ESTE GRUPO DE JÓVENES QUE SIEMPRE HAN LLEVADO UN MENSAJE DE ALEGRÍA EN TODOS LOS LUGARES DONDE HAN ACTUADO, ENTRE ELLOS PODEMOS MENCIONAR: CARACAS, MARACAY, SAN CRISTÓBAL, SAN FELIPE, MÉRIDA, SAN FERNANDO DE APURE, ARAURE, ACARIGUA, GUANARE, DABAJURO DEL ESTADO FALCÓN Y POR SUPUESTO EN TODAS LAS REGIONES DEL ESTADO LARA.
